Undated Coming Of Christ

The doctrine of Christ’s second coming is a major doctrine not to be taken lightly, but seriously studied so we may not become victims of false teachers. Apparently, their questionable doctrines are now sprouting and spreading like mushrooms everywhere. Many people doubted the certainty of the Lord’s coming because of their lack of faith and knowledge concerning Bible prophecy.
As we see the signs of the time, we must be prayerful and watchful so we may not be misled by the errors of wicked people. In II Peter 3:3-4, it is written, Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. (KJV)
The worsening situation of the world must be the prime reason behind our intensified global evangelization. The Bible says in II Corinthians 4:3-4, But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. (KJV) Keep on spreading the Gospel of Christ before it’s too late.
(I) According To God’s Own Timetable Mark 13:32
God’s way and time are not the same as ours. The Bible says in II Peter 3:8, But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. (KJV) The Lord will surely come, but no man knows the exact time.
In Mark 13:32-33, it is written, But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. 33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. (KJV)
Paul wrote in I Thessalonians 5:1-2, But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. (KJV) These verses remind us that the coming of the Lord is unpredictable because He will come as a thief in the night. For such reason, we must prepare ourselves and always be ready to meet Him any time.
-Don’t be deceived by false Christ Mark 13:3-6
Deceivers are everywhere looking for potential victims to lead them to destructive apostasy. In Mark 13:5-6, And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: 6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. (KJV) Have a consistent Bible reading and learning through the help of the Holy Ghost.
Have a strict adherence to the Word of God to avoid being led by the errors of wicked and deceitful men. Be filled with the Holy Ghost so you will have the wisdom to perceive the deceitfulness of false teachers.
Watch and pray Mark 13:35-37
Be expectant of great things to come. Be watchful at all times and continue praying for the coming of the Lord. The Lord said in Mark 13:35-37, Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: 36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. 37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. (KJV) Don’t be caught unaware when the Lord comes.
Love the appearing of the Lord Jesus Christ and be rewarded. The Apostle Paul wrote in II Timothy 4:8, Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. (KJV) What a glorious moment that will be when we see the Lord Jesus and be with Him for eternity.
Reminder:
Although the coming of Christ is undated, His imminent coming is unquestionably sure. The Lord said in Mark 13:31, Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. (KJV) The Word of God is true and what the Bible says will surely be fulfilled.
The Bible says in Mark 13:34, For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. (KJV) Keep on praying and watching for the glorious coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
