God Remembers Those Who Pray Earnestly To Him

Prayer and spirituality are inseparable things in the life of a believer. The open line of communication to God must not be hindered but rather be used consistently through praying. A consistent prayer life will lift up a believer to a higher level of spirituality. God wants His children to be prayerful, be drawn closer to him and grow spiritually for His honor and glory.
The life of Hannah is an excellent example of well-lived faith in time of uncertainties. Her adversary led her to uncomfortable life; however, she trusted the Lord and her sorrowful life was turned to a joyful life. She was a woman of prayer, and in the latter part of her life, she ended praising God because her request was granted in a very memorable way.
God will never forget those who put their trust in Him especially during defining moments. In Psalm 50:15, it is written, And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. (KJV) Are you annoyed by strange adversities? Call upon the Lord and you will be amazed of His unimaginable deliverance.
(I) Those Who Have Faith-triggered Request I Samuel 1:10-11
Faith has a great role in one’s spiritual journey and those who walk by faith will surely reach milestone after milestone of success because God will be with them along their life course.
Hannah prayed and made her request known to God, and behind her personal request for a man child was her unwavering faith in the True and Living God.The Bible says in I Samuel 1:10-11, And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore. 11 And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head. (KJV) What an inspiring prayer to ask something great from God and then to eventually give it back to Him for His glory.
The Apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 4:6, Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. (KJV) If you are in your darkest night, come to the Lord and let your request be made known to Him. As a great result, your request will be granted, and your darkest night will be turned into a bright day full of peace and joy.
-In times of affliction I Samuel 1:11
In times of affliction, don’t forget to come to the Lord’s throne of grace and ask help. Hannah prayed, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid… The Lord knows and sees our affliction, and He is always there to help us.
Communing with God in times of affliction will give us hope and strength to live by. The Bible says in Jeremiah 33:3, Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. (KJV)
With special request I Samuel 1:11
The Bible says in I Samuel 1:11, And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head. (KJV) Requesting something great from God with a vow is heart-touching. It’s also good for us to be reminded, and not to forget, what we uttered before God’s throne lest we be found unfaithful.
With hope-giving joy I Samuel 1:18
Prayer leads a believer to a hope-giving joy. Hannah was misunderstood by Eli when she prayed, but eventually, he understood her situation and gave his blessing. The Bible says in I Samuel 1:17, Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him. (KJV) What a blessing to have words of assurance from God’s servants who are ready to assist us in times of uncertainties.
In I Samuel 1:18, it is written, And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad. (KJV) The peace and joy we are enjoying are undeniably from above through intimate communion with God. Let your heart be interwoven with the heart of God and enjoy the warmth of His love.
With granted request I Samuel 1:19
Every time we kneel down in prayer, we must keep in mind that God can hear and answer our prayers in an overwhelming way. The Bible says in I Samuel 1:19, And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her. (KJV) Hannah asked God to remember her and she was truly remembered by our merciful and gracious Heavenly Father.
In I Samuel 1:20, it is written, Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the LORD. (KJV) By faith, ask something from God and you will be amazed of what He can do for you.
With heartfelt praises I Samuel 2:1, 2
It should be our desire and conviction to always praise and thank God for all the blessings He is showering us. In I Samuel 2:1-2, it is written, And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation. 2 There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God. (KJV) God is our Rock and we are safe in Him forever. He is worthy to be praised moment by moment.
Spiritual insights to live by:
Hannah was a godly mother who lived with much struggles in life, both from within and from without; however, through God’s sustaining grace, she was able to overcome all her adversities, and her life created a high-level spiritual impact on the lives of truth-loving people. The Bible account of Hannah’s spiritual journey is a great lesson for us to ponder and to learn from especially when it comes to prayer life.
Certainly, God remembers those who pray earnestly to Him. In I Samuel 1:27-28, it is written, For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him: 28 Therefore also I have lent him to the LORD; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the LORD. And he worshipped the LORD there. (KJV)
